MY HOPES FOR THE FUTURE OF CKJJR
Grant Cooke Sensei 12/11/2012
 |
CKJJR AS A WHOLE: CKJJR has grown immensley in the past 5years, going from a once a night club in a school to a five day's a week academy, satelite club in middlewich and three afterschool clubs. As well as Clubmark Accreditation, NGB Membership and Accreditation and MASA Membership.

In the future I would like to see students developing into instructors opening CKJJR Dojo's, expanding our group and bringing the Art of CKJJR to even more people.

A close knit group of clubs where students can inter-train and we can hold inter-club contests, seminars and have a bigger and better Samurai Camp.

MIDDLEWICH DOJO: In the near future training will be held two night a week and hopefully more as time goes on. The club is growing in popularity and we would like to see knowledge of our club to spread.

MACCLESFIELD DOJO: We are busy every night of the week with attendance in every class, it would be nice to be close to capacity (15-20 students per class) every night and have some extra 'specialist' classes in the near future.

STUDENTS: All our students at the macclesfield and middlewich martial arts classes are developing into excelent Martial Artists showing improvement week-on-week. As always our under 16's could always do with a little more focus and concentration but this is something we are constantly working on.
RESPONSIBILITY
Grant Cooke Sensei 20/02/2012

RESPONSILITY has been a focus in our classes this term, we have been talking about taking responsiility not only for ourselves but others and our community.

Within THE DOJO students are learning to take responsibility for their own training and a certain amount of responsiility for others.
People often complain about the 'state' of their community, but do little to rectify the situation - "all it takes for evil to suceed is for good people to do nothing"
As such we must all take responsiility for our community, we will be planning a litter pick soon to enforce this further
